The invite-only social app Clubhouse is now available for Android devices across the globe. The Android Version of the app was being tested in the United States a coupe of weeks back. Before the Android app it was exclusive available to iOS since march 2020.
This audio application gained attention in the technology world after being used by people like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
The app is compatible with devices running Android v8.0 or later. Despite being availabe on PlayStore , Clubhouse is still based on the waitlist and inivite system which means that users will need an invite from an existing user to sign up.
Clubhouse is a space for casual, drop-in audio conversations — with friends and other interesting people around the world.
The growth sparked in early 2021 attracted companies including Facebook, Discord, and Twitter to enter the social audio space and bring their Clubhouse competitors.
Sudden popularity of the app also helped its Indian substitute Lehar to gain some momentum.
